What do you get:
- A standard size Keruing wooden Chicube (600x600x650) which is very easy to clean with removable internal liner, great ventillation, air pocket insulation, removable perches and nest box
- A strong galvanised wire mesh run with fox proof skirts (standard size, 6ft long)
- 2 or 3 rescued ex-battery hens (your choice of 2 or 3)
- A waterproof shade cover, giving added protection for your girls
- A drinker
- A feeder
- A 20Kg bag of Little Hen Rescues specially blended ex-battery food
- A 12 month supply of wormer
- A bottle of purple spray, (antiseptic spray, brilliant for treating minor injuries, simply spray on)
- Some straw, so that your hens can settle in straight away, also meaning there is no need to rush out and get that last forgotten item
- A 'How to' booklet, explaining how to look after your hens
- A mini advice session on delivery of your pack on how to care for your hens
- Delivery is included in the price of the package, we deliver every part of the package nationwide except for the chickens, some areas are too far for them to travel from our bases, however, we will always try to source ex-battery chickens for you from your local area if you fall outside our delivery area. We will then normally send you a voucher allowing you to hand pick your hens from a local source.

Keruing Little Hen Starter Package
The new innovative wooden Chicubes are made from Keruing which is a hardwood and is very strong. The idea behind the wooden Chicubes is to provide a more traditional look but still provide you with an easy to clean house. Each one of our wooden houses comes with a removable fibre glass and resin internal shell. This can be easily lifted out of the Chicube by one person so it can be cleaned. It is light weight but very strong and durable and has a smooth finnish, meaning that dirt and muck can easily be removed from the inside of the house.Each of our wooden Chicubes and the internal shells is hand made at our factory in Staffordshire by highly skilled joiners and cabinet makers, meaning that each Chicube is always produced to the highest standards and of the best quality.
We are able to make wooden Chicubes from a variety of different woods including Teak, Utile, Oak and Cedar as well as many others. If you would like a wooden Chicube made from one of these woods please contact us for further information and prices.
We also make a range of different sizes of our wooden Chicubes, so if this one is too small please contact us and we will be happy to help you.
Chicubes are delivered to you ready assembled, so no need to worry about flat pack kits. Runs come ready assembled for you upon delivery and will be fixed to your Chicube, so you are ready to go straight away.

Chicube (pronounced Chick-cube) is a home or enclosure for chickens, rabbits and other small animals.
Ordinarily, chicken houses are constructed from wood and soon look past their best. Keeping a wooden coop clean and odour free is always a challenge as the yucky smelly stuff gets into the grain of the wood and it's then near impossible to get back to it's best.
Chicubes are different...
We took a long hard look at existing chicken coops and re-engineered a solution using modern fabrication techniques and materials. As the old adage goes, 'If a job's worth doing, it's worth doing right!'. We believe our Chicubes are the perfect solution for keeping birds and small animals safe, secure and happy with the minimum of hassle.
Chicubes come in many sizes, with a choice of different colours. There's also a growing range of accessories to keep your chickens/animals in the 'lap of luxury'. All Chicubes feature the same easy clean design (spray or wipe down) with hinged lids and stays for inspecting your little friends.

We will contact you when your order is ready to agree a delivery date/time. Please note that all deliveries must be signed for, therefore somebody must be available at the delivery address to sign for the goods. An additional fee may be charged for failed deliveries.
Chicubes are often made to order so please allow 1-2 weeks for delivery. If you need your order urgently please feel free to give us a call and we will see if we can expidite your order (0114 245 0333).
For orders outside the UK shipping costs vary and where necessary we may contact you to advise of revised shipping costs. Where this is the case we will let you know the revised price and offer you the option to cancel the order at no cost, should you wish to do so.
